چکیده

Fractional multivariate design of experiments with seven factors was used to chemometrically evaluate adsorption tembotrione on the surface catalyst, efficiency photocatalytic degradation tembotrione, and removal efficiency. For adsorption, revealed two significant main effects (loading TiO2 concentration KBrO3) interactions × purging O2 loading stirring during 5 min before irradiation). Model for three (concentration KBrO3, O2, irradiation), while overall had four TiO2, irradiation) one factor interaction KBrO3). The optimal yield 99.5% 1.25 mg/ml, KBrO3 4.33 mM, β-cyclodextrin Au in ratio 2:1, 3 ml/min purging, irradiation. effect tert-butanol, NaF, EDTA 2Na, p-benzoquinone under experimental conditions suggested that relative contribution various reactive species changed following order: O 2 ∙ - ˃ ●OHads h+ ●OHfree.

Removal of Chromium from Waste Water by Adsorption Method Using Agricultural Waste Materials

Several low cost biomaterials such as rice husk, sugar cane bagasse, Tulsi Leaf &branches, coconut shell & coir and fly ash were tested for removal of chromium. All the experiments were carried out in batch process. The adsorbent, which had highest chromium (VI) removal, was coconut shell. An influence of chromium concentration, contact time on removal of chromium from effluent was investigated...

Removal of phenol from water by adsorption-flocculation using organobentonite.

Bentonite modified with short chain cationic surfactant might be the basis of a new approach to removing organic pollutants from water. The treatment process involves dispersing bentonite to the contaminated water and then adding a small cationic surfactant so as to result in flocs which are agglomerates of organobentonite and bound organic pollutants. The flocs are then removed from the soluti...
